Indy has been in talks with the Mike and boys with the possibilty of releasing Unemployed "Greatist Hits" Lp vinyl in 2024. J.Ridge and Phil Joliceour share 2 distinct common links between both bands. Firstly, it is J.Ridge's original punk band from 1997 - 1999 that he helmed the priviledge of playing lead guitar along side Charles on rhythm guitar and Owain on bass. Secondly, along with Mike on vocals and Adam on percussion, they collectively exploded onto the skate punk scene with blistering riffage and emotive style and sound that quickly became easily recognizable on Canada's East Coast prevailing along side the one and only undisputed sonic enforcers - Reset from Montreal, Quebec. A now legendary skate punk that Phil helmed lead guitars up to this current day. As now co-owners of Indy Rekordz in 2024, J and Phil holds the highest respect for each their brothers and bandmates. In doing so, would like to pivot their focus with the new label in releasing vinyl that will formely celebrate decades of skate punk triumph them selves and all the legacy fans.
